Radhika Pillai, MD, FAAP

Dr. Pillai is a board certified pediatrician dedicated to serving children at all stages of life. She is originally from New Jersey, but spent most of her life in Georgia. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and completed her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia.

She met her husband (a native Houstonian) while she was in medical school, which brought her to Texas for residency. She completed her pediatric residency from the Baylor College of Medicine, Children’s Hospital of San Antonio program and then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology from UT Health San Antonio where she developed further expertise in managing obesity, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, growth disorders, as well as thyroid and adrenal disease.

She and her husband are excited to raise their children in Houston now, closer to family and friends. She is passionate about providing high quality, equitable care and enjoys building lifelong relationships with her patients and families. She is fluent in Gujarati, and has working proficiency in Hindi and Spanish.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Pillai’s other interests include reading, cooking, spending quality time with her husband and two children, exploring new parks and spending time with extended family and friends.
